Jon Brownstein, Founder


After living in Sardinia for more than half of his life, Jon’s love of the culture inspired him to found Trigu Italia. In addition to exporting artisan products, Jon also hosts tours of his favorite culinary and cultural experiences on the island. He is dedicated to supporting the artisan and building a mutually beneficial global community around Sardinian culture.

Human-to-human, return to the basics, respect nature and humanity. The people involved in Trigu Italia are passionately bound to their culture and region — putting fresher, healthier ingredients on the table. This is the Sardinian way.

We are a family business, owned and run by Jon Brownstein and his Sardinian sons, Gabriele and Lorenzo. We have a personal stake in preserving Sardinian heritage through sustainable farming practices and creating jobs on the island.
